TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN PENANGANAN CEDERA AKUT DENGAN METODE R.I.C.E (REST, ICE, COMPRESSION, ELEVATION) PADA PEMAIN BOLA VOLI GUNDENGAN VOLI CLUB (GVC)
Abstract
Pada saat latihan atau pertandingan sering terjadi cedera, sehingga sangat diperlukan pemahaman konsep pertolongan pertama. Metode RICE sebagai salah satu metode terhadap penanganan cedera akut, penting untuk dipahami oleh atlet olahraga khususnya olahraga bola voli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman pemain di club bola voli GVC tentang penanganan akut cedera dengan metode RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevation).
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan datanya dengan menggunakan angket. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemain club bola voli GVC, yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase tingkat pemahaman pemain di club bola voli GVC tentang penanganan cedera akut dengan metode RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevation). Untuk menganalisis data secara kualitatif, dimana hasil nilai tes pengetahuan kemudian dimasukkan dalam 5 kategori dideskripsikan sesuai kriterianya.
Berdasaarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman pemain di club bola voli GVC tentang penanganan cedera akut dengan metode RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevation). adalah baik. Sebagai rincian, sebanyak 9 pemain kategori baik sekali, 21 pemain kategori baik, 0 pemain kategori cukup, 0 pemain kategori kurang. Frekuensi terbanyak pada kategori baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan tingkat pemahaman pemain di club bola voli GVC tentang penanganan cedera akut dengan metode RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevation) adalah baik.
