Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the implementation of authentic assessment in science subjects in junior high schools in the 2013 curriculum. The method used is in the form of interviews and observation. With the subject of science teacher research. As for the results of the study which cover tiga authentic assessment domains that are applied in junior high schools, teachers still have difficulties in making assessments, especially in the affective (attitude) domain so that teachers must look for other alternatives that can facilitate the assessment carried out by the teacher. The conclusion that we can draw from this research is that the implementation of the authentic assessment carried out at SMP N 1 Ngawi has gone quite well and in the future it can be carried out even better so that there are no obstacles to the implementation of authentic assessment.
