Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) and its assessment in the Natural Sciences (IPA) subject at SMP N 1 Kedunggalar for the 2023/2024 academic year. Using a qualitative approach this research provides an in-depth analysis of the application and assessment of P5 in IPA instruction. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Ihwan (2020) model which includes data collection, data display, and verification/drawing conclusions. To ensure data validity the study employed triangulation techniques integrating the results from observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of P5 in the IPA subject at SMP N 1 Kedunggalar involves three main stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. P5 assessment is carried out through three primary aspects: project-based assessment which evaluates the final results and the project execution process, performance-based assessment which assesses students' ability to present project results in groups, and portfolio-based assessment which measures individual students' ability to compile written reports on the learning process. Each assessment aspect reflects the dimensions of P5 including faith, independence, mutual cooperation, global diversity, critical thinking, and creativity. This study provides significant insights into how P5 is applied within the context of IPA instruction and details how the dimensions of P5 are integrated into the planning, execution, and evaluation of the learning process at SMP N 1 Kedunggalar.
